Wylie Health Clinic Rated Good by the Care Quality Commission (CQC)
01 July, 2026
We're proud to share that Wylie Health Clinic has been rated Good by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) following our first inspection since opening.
The assessment took place between 16th and 25th May 2026 and reviewed the GP services provided by the clinic. The CQC awarded a Good rating across all five areas assessed: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well-Led.
For us, this recognition reflects what we strive to provide every day: high-quality healthcare that is professional, compassionate, and centred around the needs of our patients.
What The Inspection Found
Throughout the report, inspectors highlighted the strong culture, patient-focused care, and commitment to safety that exists within the clinic.
A Safe Service
The CQC found that patients were protected from avoidable harm and that robust systems were in place to maintain high standards of care.
Inspectors noted that staff felt comfortable raising concerns, incidents were investigated appropriately, and learning was used to continually improve services.
The report described the clinic as having:
"A proactive and positive culture of safety, based on openness and honesty."
The inspection also found that facilities were clean and well maintained, equipment was appropriately managed, and staff had the training and experience needed to deliver safe care.
High-Quality, Evidence-Based Care
The CQC found that care and treatment were delivered in line with current evidence and best practice guidance.
Patients were actively involved in assessments of their health and wellbeing, with care tailored to their individual needs and circumstances.
Inspectors also recognised the clinic's commitment to continuity of care, particularly in working alongside NHS services where appropriate.
Patients Felt Listened To
One of the most rewarding parts of the report was the positive feedback regarding patient experience.
The CQC found that:
"People were treated with kindness and compassion."
Patients reported feeling listened to, respected, and involved in decisions about their care. Inspectors also noted that consultations allowed sufficient time for patients to discuss their concerns properly and receive personalised advice and support.
At Wylie Health Clinic, we believe good healthcare starts with listening, and we're pleased this was reflected throughout the inspection.
Supporting Individual Needs
The report recognised the clinic's commitment to providing inclusive and accessible care.
Inspectors found that staff took account of people's personal, cultural, social, religious, and communication needs, helping ensure patients felt comfortable and supported throughout their care journey.
The clinic also provides access to translated information, interpreter services, large-print documents, and Braille resources where required.
Positive Patient Feedback
The CQC reviewed patient feedback from a variety of sources, including online reviews and written testimonials.
The report stated:
"People were positive about the quality of their care and treatment."
Inspectors found feedback to be overwhelmingly complimentary, with patients frequently commenting on the quality of care, professionalism of staff, and the time taken to understand their concerns.
Independent review platforms showed an average patient rating of 4.5 out of 5. Accessible, Responsive Care
The inspection found that patients were able to access care when they needed it and that information about services, appointments, and fees was clear and easy to understand.
Inspectors also highlighted that patients knew how to provide feedback and felt confident that concerns would be taken seriously and acted upon appropriately.
A Culture Of Learning And Improvement
The CQC recognised the strong leadership and positive culture within the clinic. The report found that:
"Leaders and staff had a shared vision and culture based on listening, learning, and trust."
Inspectors noted that staff felt supported, valued, and able to contribute ideas for improvement, helping create an environment focused on delivering the best possible patient care.
Continuous learning, quality improvement, and patient safety were clear themes throughout the report.
